Wismec Active 80W Starter Kit Review – Is It a Gimmick or Revolutionary?

Wismec Active 80W Starter Kit Review

Let me start by saying I thought this thing was going to be pretty lame when I received the Wismec Active 80W Starter Kit. A mod that is a Bluetooth speaker? Do we even need such a thing in our life? Normally a device that does two things does neither well. Without giving too much away, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the compromises were not from the mod, more on that later.

Wismec Active 80W Starter KitWismec Active 80W Starter Kit Initial Thoughts and Impressions

Upon opening the sleeved package, I opened the box to see my jet-black mod in a felt-topped foam casing. On the left-hand side, you’ll find a box with a spare coilUSB, and other spares like o-rings and such. Under the packaging is an owner’s manual for the tank and the mod. This mod is pretty straightforward to use but it never hurts going through the manual.

The tank included with the mod, is the Wismec Amor tank. It comes with a mouth to the lung (MTL) and a direct to the lung (DTLcoil head that is in the spares box. Since the tank came with the MTL coil that is what I used first. Because this mod is supposed to be used out and about and thrown under the tank section and the drip tips are plastic.

Wismec Active 80W Starter KitI wish they would have also included a glass option for us less adventurous types, but I understand the reasoning.  The 1.3 ohm  MTL coil head has a nice restricted draw and was a pleasure to use with some 6mg e-liquid. The 0.2-ohm coil head is an excellent option for a wide open airflow and was very enjoyable to use with the mod maxed out to80 watts. Running this mod at 80 watts for me depleted the internal 2100mAh batteryquite quickly though. Including a 0.5 ohm coil instead would have made more sense.

Wismec Active 80W Starter Kit Initial Thoughts and Impressions Continued

This paragraph is going to be a longer one, you have been warned. So let’s talk about the mod.  The device was a little lighter than I thought it would have been. The exterior has a grill design on both sides with the speaker barely visible on one side. There is a silicone sleeve covering the membranes for the buttons. The membrane behind the sleeve are yellow and appear to be very durable. On the front of the mod, you will find the power/fire button and a wattage up and down key. There is a screen in the middle with a sealed USB port for charging.

Wismec Active 80W Starter KitOn the back of the mod are the controls for the Bluetooth speaker portion of the device. Pairing and listening to music was very simple to do but the range is not great. I was able to get about 20 feet from my phone and then got some skipping and loss of signal. This is still adequate for most people though.

The sound coming out of this mod is where the mod shows that a device doing two things sacrifices some quality. The sound is somewhat tinny and there is really no bass to the music at all. This is a passable speaker, but do not expect a Bose like experience from this speaker. It serves the purpose but doesn’t sound amazing.

One other gripe is the buttons are opposite for the volume.  The down volume is above the volume up button! That doesn’t make any sense!

But how does the Wismec Active 80W Vape?

Wismec Active 80W Starter KitThe vape experience is what you would expect from a well-built Chinese mod from Wismec. I have always been happy with Wismec and own quite a few of their mods.

The wattage and resistance reading are correct and consistent.  The inclusion of the Amor tank is a nice touch. The plastic tank and drip tip make this mod a true Active modand can handle some abuse.

I have taken a shower with this mod. Thrown it in the pool, (tank removed of course) dropped it on the ground countless times and it is still functional. The durability of this mod is stellar.

Wismec Active 80W Starter KitThe vape experience with tanks for me is shaky at best. I can still only get one to three days from a coil head no matter how I vape it. This is just my experience with coil heads, not a true representation of what your experience will be

Final Thoughts

This mod is a fantastic offering by Wismec. The dual-purpose design of this mod is rather revolutionary in my opinion. I was completely underestimating this mod until I used it. It is easy to use and rock-solid in design. This kit is a winner for those looking for an amazingly rugged vape experience.  This mod works very well and even includes a speaker to listen to your tunes while you blow fat or skinny clouds.

This Wismec Active 80W Starter Kit is a clean, functional, yet fun device that allows you to listen to music and vape at the same time. It can handle a beating and still function as designed. This may not be what we asked for, but after using it and abusing it I can say that this is a product that I hope gets a Version 2 with a better speaker module and a larger battery capacity. Those are my only two gripes with this kit. Pick one up and rock out with your vape out!

Advken Manta MTL RTA Preview | Redesigned for MTL

Advken Manta MTL RTA intro

One of the most popular rebuildable tanks of last year just got a makeover. The new Manta MTL RTA looks just like the original but it now has a tighter airflow, and the deck is geared for single coil builds. From the looks of it, it has the potential to rival the likes of the Siren 2, Berserker Mini, and Ares. Here’s a closer look.

Manta: reimagined

advken-manta-mtl-rta

A recent surge in MTL devices is actually a throwback to an older style of vaping. As it turns out, not everyone is still interested in the theatrics of chucking “phat clouds”, although the original Manta RTA was more than that. Still, it performed best at higher wattages with big beefy dual coil builds. It still features the same Manta logo and Ultem drip tip, but this time they went with an appropriate 510-style mouthpiece.

The tank is 24 mm in diameter and has an aesthetic similar to the original. It uses a threaded top-fill system with giant kidney-shaped fill ports. The bottom airflow system works the same as before but provides a much tighter draw suitable for MTL vaping or restrictive lung hits.

The Manta MTL has a 3 mL maximum capacity with the bubble glass, 1.5 mL less than the original. The European edition only includes the straight 2 mL glass for TPD compliance. Considering it is a single-coil mouth to lung device, 3 mL is not bad, but a bit less than the average MTL tank.

The Manta MTL RTA features a vacuum-plated gold deck with a side-air intake system

Advken has not released any images of the build deck. I’m guessing they are afraid to let the cat out of the bag until it is released. What they’ve said so far is that the deck posts will feature side-air intake holes to enhance flavour.

The original Manta used a modified Velocity-style deck. The Manta MTL will probably implement a similar system as the Merlin MTL, a single-coil RTA that also utilizes a side-air intake system. Advken announced that the deck will be made of vacuum-plated gold.

Considering the popularity of the original Manta and the price, the Manta MTL RTA could very well become a fan favorite among MTL vapers. It looks good and has decent capacity, easy top-fill, is single-coil compatible and TPD compliant. If it delivers flavor like the original, then it could be a home run for Advken.

Eleaf Istick Pico 75 TC Review — Does It Really Measure Up?

This mod continues to build upon that foundation and expand affordable functionality for all levels of users. With a list of comprehensive modes and wattage range, this is one of the best vape mods in it’s price range. Let us show you why we think so.

First Impressions

the istick pico has a unique raised battery cap

Right out of the box, this little box mod made a positive impression on me.  I’ve had the chance to review a lot of devices over the years and the unique design of the Pico made it stand out immediately.

The most noticeable difference unique to this device is the innovative design of creating a raised top battery cap which rises alongside the tank. This allows the overall height to be reduced significantly and is a very efficient use of space.  This design also makes it very easy to change the battery, as the large knurled battery cap is super easy to remove in order to pop in a charged battery.

To be clear, it will effectively power almost every tank. However, there are a handful of tanks with coils that are best suited to vaping over 75W. Also, a device powered by a single 18650 battery won’t satisfy everyone’s vaping preferences.  At, for example, 50W of power many will not get through a full day of vaping on a single battery.  Heavy vapers looking for a new mod who will be using a tank that requires high wattage to function at its best, will likely want to invest in a dual battery mod.

The rest of the design is equally well thought out.  The body has a pleasing curve on the sides which makes it very comfortable in the hand.  To me this is an element of devices which is often under appreciated.  For many vapers, their device is in their hand an awful lot, and having a mod that sits well and feels right in your hand is an important quality to look for.  Regardless of whether you have giant mitts or tiny hands, the Pico will feel comfortable.

Getting to Know the Pico

the usb port can upgrade firmware or charge its single 18650 battery

Let’s look at what goes into the mod, and the ins-and-outs of using the device.  As stated previously, it’s fairly compact.  It measures only 70.5mm (2.77″) high, 45mm (1.77″) long and 23mm (0.9″) wide.  The front is occupied with a micro-USB port for charging and firmware upgrades (see below for why you may want to update the firmware), an oval screen with easy-to-read white lettering against a black background, and a stylish curved fire button.

It’s powered by a single 18650 battery, which is not included.  Important safety features are included, such as a 10 second cutoff (in case of accidental firing, this reduces stress on the battery), battery vent holes, as well as short circuit, low voltage, and high temperature protection.

Note:  When purchasing a battery (not included), be aware that there IS a quality difference among different batteries and manufacturers.  Ensure you purchase a battery from a trusted manufacturer such as Sony, Samsung, or LG for surety and safety.

Functionality By Design

the button placement helps prevent accidental presses

On top of the the mod there is a spring-loaded center pin.  This means that the pin which makes connection with your tank will “float” on a spring. This design allows the Pico to make connection with a variety of tanks seamlessly. Even if the tank’s center pin is a hair longer or shorter than another tank’s, the spring function will fill in the gap.

However, the battery cap sitting directly beside the 510 connector limits your tank options. Any tank fitted to the Pico has to measure 22mm or less in diameter.  While this covers the majorty of tanks on the market, and gives you lots of great options, there are some “hot” tanks on the market that won’t pair with the Eleaf iStick Pico 75w TC.

Button Placement

Another area where this mod strays from the ordinary is in the wattage adjustment button placement.  By placing these full-size buttons on the base of the unit, Eleaf is able to maximize space and keep the main body of the mod uncluttered. The micro-USB port, screen and fire button occupy the “front” of the device.  These bottom buttons are recessed and will not get pressed accidentally when you set the mod down.  It’s a smart design and clearly the product of researched innovation. Functions infrequently used are placed away from the primary interface, yet are still easily accessible.

Once in the menu the wattage +/- buttons are used to scroll through the options.  When on the option you want, pressing the fire button will select.  For the left handed vapers, the screen can be flipped for opposite orientation. You simply lock the device with five continuous clicks and hold down both the +/-  button for two seconds.

The wattage adjustment buttons have a built in locking system. This is a very useful feature considering the buttons are on the bottom of the mod. By simply holding both the +/- buttons at the same time for two seconds, the wattage is set and locked.

Reading Between The Functions

stealth mode keeps the screen led screen off while vaping

The screen is relatively easy to read and provides plenty of information.  You can see your battery life represented by an icon and the resistance of your coil in ohms.  In wattage mode, you see the voltage and wattage that the mod is set to displayed. Similarly, using temperature control mode, you will see the active wattage and temperature being cranked out.

While most of the device has fairly standard functions, there are some unique details that we felt were important to discuss. Sometimes it’s the little things about a mod that really excite us, even if it’s on the simpler side. However, improvements like the Temperature Control adjustment moved to the base that remind us, vaping tech continues to evolve.

Also included is a stealth mode option which prevents the screen from lighting up when you are vaping.  By pressing the fire and the (-) button at the same time for two seconds you enter stealth mode.  Quickly pressing the fire button once will show you your settings, but the screen will remain dark during normal operation.  To turn off steal mode, hold fire and (-) again.

The Chipset: Looking Under the Hood

the pico has a top of the line joyetech chipset

Eleaf is a subsidiary of Joyetech, marketing a line of products that benefit from Joyetech’s vast experience and industry-changing innovations. At a more affordable price point, the Pico still uses Joyetech’s own proprietary chip-set. Joyetech’s chip-set is widely regarded as being one of the best on the market by vapers.

It falls minimally below much more expensive offerings from companies such as Evolv and YiHi. To compete with devices that tend to cost at least three times as much, is no small feat. Different chip-sets will have varying accuracy in how the read the installed coil and varying accuracy in how the requested power is delivered. This can result in a difference of perceived smoothness from each drag.

Comparing various mods with Joyetech chips to Evolv and YiHi chips, in this reviewer’s opinion the difference in vape quality is minimal, if noticeable at all. So what are some of the features on this chip-set?  For vapers interested in using temperature control mode, the Pico allows for nickel, titanium, and stainless-steel coils to be used.

Additionally, it offers TCR (Temperature Coefficient of Resistance) mode.  TCR mode allows you to use any temperature controlled material for your coil on top of the ones which are preset for the device.  The average user likely won’t be delving into things such as TCR mode, but it’s nice to have the option included.

Vaping Modes

tc mode offers easy vaping at a precise temperature

This temperature control mod has a range of vaping modes and presets. While fairly common for mods to be offered with this range of settings, it’s still impressive to find them in a mod this affordable. In addition to it’s custom presets that can be saved for “sweet spots”, the Pico 75w TC has a few important details we think are significant.

Warm Ups

Also included is a preheat function for those with firmware V1.03 or later. The preheat feature allows you to set a specific power setting for a frame of time to preheat your coil.  For example, if you are vaping at 40W but like to feel an instant hit when you press the button, you can set the preheat to fire at 50W for 0.3 seconds. In this way, rather than getting a drag that is lighter at the beginning as the coil heats up, you get an instant hit and a more consistent draw.

TC Mode

As it’s name suggests, the 75w TC offers a comprehensive temperature control feature. Temperature ranges of this mod are from 200-600 degrees Fahrenheit. Additionally, coil resistance for optimum coefficients in TCR mode range between 0.5 and 1.5 ohm, offering a spectrum of preferences for both lovers of big vapor and intense flavor hits.

Variable Wattage

The variable wattage or VW setting allows vapers to select their power level. Coil resistance range for VW mode starts as low as 0.1 ohm and goes up as high as 3.5 ohm. Something else you don’t see often is a VW mode that starts as low as a single watt. This mod will vape anywhere from 1w to the max 75 watts.

Bypass Mode

For RDA users there is also a bypass mode available.  This mode essentially allows you to bypass the chip-set and draw power directly from the battery.  Again, the average user likely won’t be using bypass mode. However, these options make this box mod a satisfying backup device for vape enthusiasts as well. It allows new users to be somewhat future-proof when making their purchase.

Is The Eleaf iStick Pico For Me?

the small size makes the pico a great mod for beginner and intermediate vapers

There are a lot of different vape products on the market and with good reason, there are a lot of different types of vapers. So, how do you decide if this mod is right for you?

For many people, the biggest factor when choosing a mod is the tradeoff between size and power. Torn between the comfortable portability of a small single battery mod and the longer battery life and power output of a larger dual battery mod.  With the Pico, any drawbacks or flaws are related to the fact that it is a smaller, single battery mod. Although the 75 watts of power supplied by the Pico may not be enough for some advanced vapers, it’s still enough to satisfy most needs of beginning and intermediate users.

So why choose a smaller 75 watt box mod like this one?  The biggest advantages are in the size and functions of this unit.  The majority of vapers, particularly those who recently quit smoking, prefer using tanks that require low-to-moderate power (say, 20-45W) for the sake of simplicity finding the sweet spot.

As such, mods like the iStick Pico 75w TC are ideally suited for people switching to vaping . Compared to the bigger hitters on the market this unit still ranks near the top for an affordable box mod with a great deal of functionality as well. Additionally, more experienced vapers looking to make an upgrade, or just a change, would still benefit from a smaller box mod like this one. As a secondary device, it can complement a larger wattage mod perfectly.  The small size and full feature set, including bypass, TCR, and preheat, make it a perfect choice for your out-and-about compact box mod.

Overview

preheat makes firing very responsive

Looking at the comparative benefits and costs of the Eleaf iStick Pico 75w TC mod:

Pros:

  • Solid performance from a small, 75-watt mod
  • Comprehensive mode selection including Temperature control, variable wattage, coil presets and custom settings
  • includes preheat for fractional firing time
  • Easily concealable, not an overbuilt device that attracts attention
  • Plug and vape ease of use

Cons:

  • The elevated battery cap limits compatible tanks
  • While 75 watts is fine for most vapers, some will miss their power.

Do You Recommend The Pico?

the pico has all the features a vaper will need

We do. Our Eleaf iStick Pico 75w TC review reveals it as a winner, plain and simple.  Easily one of the best starter mods or first upgrades, it also packs all the features vape enthusiasts want in a compact mod. The Pico is stylishly presented and comfortable in the hand. There isn’t a feature that’s missing on this device, and it comes in at a very budget friendly price point.

The quality of the materials used are excellent.  The device has a satisfying heft, without being heavy (think of a roll of half-dollars).  With long-term experience using other Eleaf products I find the surfaces to hold up well to scratches and scuffs. making it look great even after regular use.

Overall the Pico is an attractive little device which comes in a variety of colors including black, gunmetal gray, white, pink and brushed stainless steel. The price, size and style of this device positions it well as an entry level mod. A stylish appearance makes it appealing to a wide variety of users.

Thoughts

Eleaf iStick Pico Front
Eleaf iStick Pico Front

Having just finished my review of the large and heavy Beyond Vape Wismec Centurion mod, we now waltz across the dance floor to the other side of the hall to review the diminutive and light iStick Pico mod that’s bundled with a Melo 3 Mini sub ohm clearomizer. Where everything about the Centurion felt substantial and heavy-duty, Jay Bo Designs took the opposite tack with the Pico. I wouldn’t say that the Pico feels insubstantial, since it offers all the features of a normal 75W temp control single-18650 regulated mod, but it crams those features and performance into a micro-package that’s half the size and weight of the Centurion.

Despite their differences in heft and bulk, I’d wager a guess that the two mods employ the same internal chip. The display screens are identical, as are the button-press sequences to adjust the various functions of wattage, temperature limit, and three customizable TCR values (Temperature Coefficient Resistance, called M1, M2, and M3 on both chips). Even reversing the display screen from left to right is accomplished the same way, by turning off the mod, then holding down the + and – buttons simultaneously. The chip has upgradeable firmware via the micro USB port, and a USB cable is included.

The idea of using one chip for many devices (with the only difference being the firmware’s programmed wattage output) makes sense, since Eleaf, Beyond Vape, and Wismec are all sub-companies within the JoyeTech conglomerate family. I guess that makes the Centurion and Pico relatives, like Big Cousin and Little Cousin.

To fit everything into a tiny package, Jay Bo had to use a top-mounted battery cap that functions as an extender, allowing the case to be shorter than the 18650. Also, the + and – buttons are located on the bottom of the mod, since there’s no room for them next to the display and firing button. Are these compromises? Sure, but they’re necessary to achieve the goal of a full-featured 75-watt TC mod in a tiny case that’s effectively a stealth unit.

Melo 3 Mini Sub-Ohm Tank

Eleaf Melo III Mini
Eleaf Melo III Mini

The Melo 3 is a standard 22mm diameter tank, but the 2ml eliquid capacity allows it to be shorter in length, only 38mm tall from the base to the cap, and a mere 50mm including the metal drip tip. Like its bigger brothers in the Melo line, however, it uses a full-sized factory coil head. Two heads are included in the Kit, both vertical Kanthal coils, in 0.3 ohm and 0.5 ohm resistances. Melo heads are cross-compatible with the Aspire Atlantis-style heads used by numerous popular sub-ohm tanks.

Temp Control — One Chip, Many Mods

Eleaf iStick Pico Screen
Eleaf iStick Pico Screen

Temp control is state of the art for a mid-priced chip (as I speculated above, this is apparently the same proprietary chip Joyetech uses in the Centurion, Stout, and RX200), with adjustable temperature and wattage, fixed settings for nickel, titanium, or stainless steel wire, plus three user-programmable custom TCR settings. No, temperature limiting on the Pico chip isn’t as complex or sophisticated as on the high-end Evolv or Yihi chips, but it’s user-friendly and accurate enough for all but the most demanding temp control vapers.

Performance

Eleaf Melo 3 Mini
Eleaf Melo 3 Mini

Here’s where the story gets interesting. Although the pairing of the teensy-weensie Pico with the Melo 3 Mini makes for an amazingly tiny vaping setup, there’s nothing small at all about the vaping experience. This tiny setup provides as full a vape as one could want from the mid-power regulated mod with a sub-ohm clearo tank. It might be a tad shy of the experience provided by a high-end RDA on a 26650 mech mod, but it’s darn close.

Using the 0.3 ohm head, the Melo 3 Mini yielded a completely satisfying vape, with full flavor and good vapor production, at 65 watts. The Pico cranked out that amount of power easily, without so much as breaking a sweat. Chain-vaping at 65 watts, the Melo tanks gets warm to the touch, but not hot, and the Pico mod remains cool as a cucumber.

As with the Centurion, the display on the Pico is only average size, and the smaller numbers are tiny, but the white-on-black LCD screen is bright and clear.

All the expected protections are built into the chip: 10-second cut-off, low resistance, atomizer short, reverse battery, and overheating shutdown. The lower limit of one watt output implies that the chip can buck as well as boost.

Battery life with the a single 18650 (not included) is about what one would expect. Depending on the wattage used, vape time between tank refills and battery swaps could be fairly short, especially so if you vape near the higher end of the Pico’s 75-watt power output. That’s not really a con, however, since the whole point of the Pico Starter Kit is to squeeze as much performance as possible from a tiny package.

Likes

  • amazingly small stealth vaping setup
  • great performance in a tiny package from both mod and tank
  • easy to use
  • ample power (75W)
  • accurate temp control with numerous options

Dislikes

  • some compromises in design were necessary
    • (extended battery cap, + and – buttons on the bottom)
  • 2ml eliquid capacity in the Melo 3 Mini means frequent refills

Verdict

The Eleaf Pico/Melo 3 Mini Starter Kit combines the best of two worlds: a full, satisfying, and powerful vaping experience from a Lilliputian-sized package. Like the character Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones, the Pico/Melo pairing may be small in size, but it’s a force with which to be reckoned.

Enthusiastically Recommended for all vapers, from beginners to experts.

Digiflavor Liip Review – A Disposable Pod System

Digiflavor Liip

Introduction to the Digiflavor Liip

Digiflavor, a company that I hold in high regards due to their previous products. I have been a fan of the Pharoah RDTA and their various RDAs including the; AuraDrop & Drop Solo. Now Digiflavor have branched into something new for them, a disposable pod type system called Digiflavor Liip. This is both new to Digiflavor and also to me. It’s the first disposable mod I have tried so for that reason I have nothing to compare it with.

In the Box

3 x Liip Devices or 2 x e-liquids in the case of the Reddy flavour

That’s it!

Digiflavor Liip Specs

Size: 73.3 x 20 x 12.9mm
Battery: Built-in 240mAh battery
Nicotine Volume: 48% for Tobacco, 36% for Berry and Orange, Non-nic for Reddy
Quantity: 3pcs/pack (Tobacco, Berry, Orange); 2pcs/pack(Reddy)

Digiflavor LiipFirst Impressions of the Digiflavor Liip

Straight out of the box you will find your 3 disposable Liip devices packaged individually in sealed foil/plastic packets. Looking like a USB memory stick these are definitely pocket-sized, discreet and perfect for that sneaky stealth vape.

The Liip itself comes in 4 colours; BlackOrangePurple, and Red. The colours themselves represent each flavour available. Black being Tobacco, Purple is Berry, Orange is Orange funnily enough and of course Red is Reddy. I will look more at the flavors shortly.

Digiflavor LiipAt the top of the Liip when you unwrap it you will see a silicone plug protecting the MTL style mouthpiece. Running down the body of the Liip is a ribbed design assisting your grip and admittedly it does feel good to hold.

Of course being a disposable device it does feel very light and a little cheap. But then again, it’s made to be thrown away so I did not expect much better. For what it is, I would say it is a well made and designed device. At the base of the Digiflavor Liip you will find two holes, one is an airflow hole and the other houses a small LED indicator light.

Digiflavor LiipInternally there is a small 240mah battery which is rated for 200-300 puffs, which should be adequate to use most if not all of the liquid inside. It goes without saying due to the internal battery to take care when disposing of and dispose of the device safely. The quantity of liquid sits at 1.2ml.

The Digiflavor Liip Flavours

As I covered above, the Liip comes in four flavors. I will let you know about each one.

Digiflavor LiipBerry, coming in at a strength of 36% gives a satisfying mixed berry flavor with an after burst of cooling. I was immediately impressed with the amount of flavor given its a small device. The mixture of berries and cooling worked really well and this is my favorite flavor of the range.

Orange, again coming in 36% there is not much to say about this one of than that it gives a nice fresh orange taste. Orange is not really a flavor I would go for normally but there is nothing bad with the flavor here either.

Digiflavor LiipTobacco, this time coming in 48% the strongest of the 4 flavors. Gives a decent tobacco flavor. Not for me at all, I do not like tobacco flavors but it will suit someone just quitting smoking perfectly. Especially given the higher strength liquid in this one.

The fourth flavour Reddy, I will be honest I did not try, I will get onto this below.

Overall out of the three flavors I tried. I was impressed with the quality of flavor and also the overall vape experience. Despite being much higher than the 0.3% nic that I vape, there was no unpleasant taste or hit. A little nicotine head rush at first was about it!

Reddy – An Explanation

Digiflavor LiipAs a reviewer I would generally review everything that I received and give my thoughts but in this case I could not do this. Various advisory notes reading along the lines of :

“After you use the Liip Pod Reddy Flavor, the temperature on your ear and face will get higher and may be florid for a short term, your throat feel tightened and your heart beat will get faster, which is normal phenomenon and will disappear in about 10 seconds, you will feel extremely relaxed after that”.

“For Reddy Flavor, adults are recommended not to use more than one piece a day per capita”.

“For Reddy Flavor, recommended for non-working and non-driving period”.

“Expectant mother should not use this product”.

On the packaging Arecoline is listed as the alternative to nicotine. Reading a post at EcigClick pretty much gave a break down of the experience and it was not one I was prepared to go for!

Digiflavor LiipLike the writer in the article I am not saying that it is particularly dangerous but it is not something personally I would want to recommend as being good.

As vapers and former smokers the big part of everything we do is limiting the damage that we do to our bodies. By dropping the 1000s of chemicals in a cigarette to using a product that is now known to be 95% safer than cigarettes I am happy with that remaining 5%, who knows that 5% in time may disappear too.

Arecoline for me is just a no no, there is no research on it being used in liquids and the feelings described would be rather scary for me ( being an anxiety sufferer ). Do I want my heart to speed up? No… that’s what happens in a panic attack and it is not pleasant.

Until such time that I see more in depth analysis on Arecoline in eliquids I am personally steering clear.

Final Thoughts on Digiflavor Liip

While Digiflavor have certainly made a decent product here, I am not sure of their inclusion of the Reddy flavor. Whilst I may of hit out at the Reddy flavor a little hard, I am only expressing my personal opinion of this and you are free to make your own choice.

My opinion is just that, neither a recommendation nor a warning to avoid. The 3 flavors I reviewed are perfect for those quitting or those that want a higher strength liquid for out and about or a little boost from time to time. I would continue using these myself as I have really enjoyed using them.
